SAN FRANCISCO (Dow Jones) -- Verizon Wireless customers will be able to access YouTube videos on their cell phones, according to a media report Tuesday .
The deal between Verizon Wireless and YouTube, an Internet video site that Google completed acquiring for $1.65 billion two weeks ago, will also allow users to upload videos shot with their camera phones, according to an Associated Press report.
The deal, to be announced Tuesday, will launch the mobile YouTube service in early December, according to the AP report. The AP added that the services will be part of Verizon's V Cast service, and won't cost an additional fee.
Verizon Wireless, which is owned by Verizon Communications and Vodafone Group, will have exclusive cellular distribution rights for the YouTube videos in the United States for an undisclosed period, according to the AP report.
